My dedication to service began when I enlisted in the Tennessee Army National Guard, where I gained invaluable experience in leadership, discipline, and teamwork. My time in the military instilled in me a deep sense of duty to serve my community and advocate for meaningful change.
I have consistently channeled that sense of duty into civic engagement and community service. I have been actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America, mentoring Venture Scouts in leadership, survival skills, and personal development. As a committed member of HisTouch Worship Center, I’ve served as an event planner and Bible study leader, helping to organize community-driven initiatives that bring people together.
In addition, I work as a private tutor, helping individuals of all ages succeed in STEM subjects, English, and Spanish. I also assist military candidates in preparing for the ASVAB, supporting their path to service with practical guidance and encouragement.
I understand the challenges of balancing work, family, and service while striving to make a difference. I have worked multiple jobs while raising my children, demonstrating the resilience, dedication, and discipline it takes to overcome adversity and stay focused on what truly matters — building a better future.
As a candidate for Dickinson City Council, I am ready to lead with integrity, vision, and action. I believe in creating a city where every resident’s voice is heard, where small businesses are supported, and where thoughtful, responsible governance guides our growth. With a deep commitment to service and community, I’m prepared to help Dickinson thrive — for all families, now and in the future.
