I am running for Dickinson City Council because our city deserves strong, responsible leadership that puts progress over politics. As a mother, military veteran, and dedicated community leader, I understand the real challenges families face—balancing work, financial stability, and the pursuit of a better future. I want to ensure that Dickinson grows responsibly, supports small businesses, invests in public safety, and maintains a high quality of life for all residents.
My dedication to service began when I enlisted in the Tennessee Army National Guard, where I developed the values of discipline, teamwork, and accountability. That experience instilled in me a lifelong commitment to serve my community and lead with integrity. Over the years, I’ve dedicated my time to mentoring youth, tutoring students, and supporting community initiatives that uplift those around me and create meaningful change.
Dickinson is at a turning point, and now more than ever, we need leadership that listens, takes action, and delivers results. I believe in fiscal responsibility and smart financial planning that reduces the tax burden on homeowners while investing in critical infrastructure, public safety, and long-term economic growth. I support business-friendly policies that encourage sustainable development, such as the Water Street Project, small business incentives, and expanding revenue sources beyond short-term solutions like 380 Agreements.
I am committed to ensuring that our streets are repaired, our drainage systems are modernized, and our first responders have the resources they need to protect our community. I also believe in preserving Dickinson’s unique character, supporting our no-kill animal shelter and investing in local programs that enrich our residents’ quality of life.
Ultimately, I’m running because I believe Dickinson deserves a leader who shows up, listens, and puts people first. I want to help build a city where businesses thrive, families feel secure, and residents have a government that works for them—not against them. I am ready to serve, and with your support, we can make Dickinson stronger together.
Public safety and infrastructure are the foundation of a thriving community. Dickinson must prioritize police recruitment and retention by ensuring competitive pay and benefits and securing funding for a new police station to serve residents better. Investing in road repairs is equally essential, focusing on fixing high-traffic and deteriorated streets efficiently—using asphalt for quick fixes and concrete for durability where needed. Additionally, drainage improvements must remain a top priority, and I will work to secure state and federal grants to fund projects that reduce flooding and protect homes. By listening to experts and focusing on long-term solutions, we can build a safer and more resilient Dickinson.
A strong local economy means more jobs, lower taxes, and better city services. I fully support the Water Street Project because it will bring hotels, businesses, and revenue-generating development that strengthens our tax base. Supporting small businesses is also key to long-term economic success, and I will meet directly with business owners to ensure city policies help them grow, not hold them back. While 380 Agreements have been used to attract businesses, we must also develop traditional revenue sources—like sales tax growth and business incentives—to ensure the city remains financially stable, even if the state legislature ends 380 Agreements. A thriving business community means lower homeowner taxes and a stronger Dickinson for everyone.
Dickinson deserves leadership that listens, acts, and delivers real results. I am running to bring a fresh perspective, free from political drama, because we don’t have time for distractions when real issues need to be addressed. Fiscal responsibility is essential, and I will ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely by focusing on long-term planning and economic stability. I am also committed to keeping Dickinson a no-kill community, supporting our local animal shelter to provide care for animals in need. As a mother, veteran, student, and community leader, I understand the importance of making decisions that benefit families, businesses, and future generations. Dickinson needs action, not division, and I’m ready to lead with integrity and results.
